Pet Pride, Shadow Shot Sunday: sunbathing

Before her curls grew back, when just a few leaves were falling from the trees, on days when the temperature wasn't too hot, Lindy loved sunbathing. Her hip made shadows on her side and the lawn, her head made shadows on her neck, even her ear made shadows. She was also glad the trees were making shadows on the lawn, just in case she decided to take a break from her sunbathing.

My Goldee loves to sunbathe too. I have not seen Clifford done that though. Lindy has a beautiful coat.

Lindy is absolutely gorgeous - I don't say this because I adore Labs (which I do), but look at this lovely lady - the look of contentment with her family and the simple pursuit of just sunbathing at home. Her sweet personality is in her look - one happy canine. She chose her family well!

He looks so tired or sleepy. Never did he realize he was making shadows for you.

Oh, Lindy, you're just adorable! The look on your face in the first photo is the look of contentment and satisfaction. My Max and Joe also loves to sunbathe. It recharges them!

Have a great weekend to you all.

Kay,
A dog somehow can be most friendly, a companion in fact to most owners. He's beautiful, Lindy! A friend I visited in London once 'talked' to his dog. 'Sit' and it would curl up to him. 'Speak' and it would let out a bark.I was taken aback when it barked just 2 ft from me for the 1st time.

Interesting perspective, Kay! Lovely Lindy illustrates how shadows don’t only lurk around us they also are all over us yet often go unnoticed. :)
