Our World Tuesday: late November

Here he comes again, that man with the yellow dog and the big black camera!
I'd better tell everyone else!

Do you hear him? I'll point my ears forward, you point yours backward,
then we'll be able to hear him and his dog breathing, wherever they are.

Aha, here they come, and the camera is pointed right at me.

Now it's pointed at all of us. What will we do?

I'll run up here, where there's a bit of snow left. That will distract him.
I heard humans don't like snow. They use something called a shovel to make a path.

Oh, I love this post! Those deer are so beautiful - I always love to see them on my walks. Here, they don't seem to be afraid at all. Great shots!!!

I love the caption about their ears pointed forwards and backwards to hear the dog breathing. How well you understand animals.

Hi Kay ! That is the third lovely story about deer . You have so much wildlife around . It must be very interesting at this time of the year! Arkansas Patti had a funny story about a young buck whose hormons were playing up. And she revered to another blogger who tried to rope a deer, but had no idea that a deer was so much stronger than a cow or a horse. Your photos are great to go with these stories!

That photography reminds me of wildlife books I have at home from the fifties and sixties. Thanks for sharing! Hugs, Jo

So lovely. Is it near your house or does your hubby drive to find these wonderful spots he photographs so well?

Sweet, sweet, sweet! My favorite is the one with five deer looking straight at Dick from behind the golden grassy hill.

Now exciting it must have been to be out there and see this with your own eyes.
