Weekend Reflections: Montréal, Québec

Windows in Old Town, Montréal, reflect beautiful buildings opposite them. It is a joy to walk these wonderful old streets and ponder Canada's history. I enjoyed it so much during my solo train trip across Canada last year.

Ah, “old” Montreal is indeed a joy, Kay! I remember revisiting it with my sisters (seems so long ago) and it was wonderful to walk the cobbled streets we rarely find in this new country of ours. Your pictures bring back great memories of that time and I know your trip was especially meaningful to you, too. :)

Marvelous reflections for the day! I do love seeing each building reflection another one! Terrific! And a walk down these streets would promote me to thinking about the history as it did you! Have a wonderful weekend, Kay! Give Lindy a pat for Sam and I!

Montreal is a beautiful city I have not seen in many years. And it is not that far, so I have few excuses!

I must get to Montreal. No excuses, it's just not THAT far away. These photos refresh that point in my mind. Love the 3rd one with the flowing flags. I'm enormously overdue for blog hopping. Thanks for your visits to my space.
