Simmered slowly, savory stews seem specially soothing since summer vanished. Sibilant sounds of steam somehow stir the air like soft winds: seductive, enticing. Sighs slip from souls seeking solace from winter’s woes. Safety, stillness, serenity, and soon... sleep.
