Yes, capture those fall photos before the snow flies! That orange tree is really blazing!
Looks like this has been a great year for fall color in Alberta as well as BC, Kay. I’m seeing similar golds and reds on my walks. It's especially nice that the leaves have been pleasingly slow to drop of the trees. :)
Nice to see you back home!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
Anything RED works for me - but this is magnificent!! All the more so as we head into summer downunder ...
We came back to Bellingham to find golden leaves still on our cottonwoods behind Mom's condo. They said on the news last night that the late leaves were because we haven't had many windy storms. Does Lindy like to roll in the crunchy leaves? - Margy
Oh, I do love those glorious colors! Wonderful capture, Kay! Hope your week is off to a great start! Enjoy!
Sylvia
Gorgeous shot of the autumn leaves.
You were correct, the water bird on my post was a cormorant.
And soon autumn will be gone! How the time flies! Lovely capture.
Gorgeous leaves!
They have all fallen last night here! So sad seeing the trees almost completely naked!
Thanks for sharing your beautiful shot;o)

Have a nice and happy week****
The colors are absolutely beautiful. Hubby takes the photos and you write the stories. Great partnership.
That is so beautiful! We're lucky to see anything autumn-like here in southeast Tx.
Ooh, lucky you - we are leaf-less now!
What a glorious splash of colour!
We are almost leaf-less now...
Those colors are a-fire! I have yet to see ours. Not so much here in the south, unless I drive to Big Bear or North.
Its getting cooler now here....
Lucky you, Kay, to have this glorious splash of colour so close by! Fall colours are among the things I miss, living in the tropics. And double lucky you that winter's snow has not yet hit your corner of world... one of the thing I do NOT miss! :-D
These autumn colours are a real treat ! Here autumn is at sixes and sevens. Some trees are still as green as in summer and others are losing leaves before colouring.
Kay, thank you for your comment. The only one who has tried to answer the questions was Roger, and he did very well. So it would be nice if you also had a go!
With 28°C in the shade it's hard to imagine autumn leaves and snow, lol ! I admire palm trees !
Isn’t autumn the best season? This year in particular it seems the foliage is more colorful than usual. Today is supposed to be in the low 70s so we’ll go and visit a garden again – and take many pictures. You have beautiful pictures on your blog – the sky and sights from your trips. I enjoy the pics on your dog - he is so photogenic.
So gorgeous foliage!
WOW!!! You all still have some fall color. Our is about all gone. What is left is pretty dreary except for a few maroon bushes that are full of color. Beautiful photo. genie
It is, indeed, glorious!
