Mellow Yellows, Kirillo-Belozersky Monastery

© Photos by Richard Schear, August, 2011

These yellows have been mellowing for centuries.

I stayed on board the Viking Surkov on our August cruise while my husband toured this monastery in Russia. All tours were graded according to the amount of walking and climbing required, but I managed to see plenty of other things. After Dick went alone, he showed me his photos so I'd know what he'd seen.

That's pretty classic engraves of the Saints. I bet you enjoy the tour and seeing interesting things.

It sounds like you two are great travelling companions.

Looks like you had the best of both worlds; enjoyed a cruise and still get to see places without all the walking.
