Weekend Reflections: Aerospace Museum

After almost two weeks in Russia this summer, and a few lessons in speaking the language, my husband decided one day he could read enough Russian to get himself to a couple of Moscow museums via subway because his group had toured the subway system the day before and he had enjoyed it.

While I stayed behind to relax on the Viking Surkov, he took himself off with camera, rain jacket and umbrella (the latter for the camera) to visit the Aerospace Museum and the Polytechnic Museum, both of which offered plenty of subjects for reflection. Today, for Weekend Reflections: the Aerospace Museum and its reflections, as seen by my husband Richard Schear on our August holiday in Russia.

Many shiny surfaces here for reflections - and what an wealth of history would lie within this museum - This is a place my son-in-laws would love to visit.
Enjoy your weekend and take care. xx

WOW! I cannot get over all the reflection you were able to capture in this one museum. I think it would really be neat to visit there...I can remember when Sputnik went up. After that my mother always blamed everything that went wrong with the weather and nature was because of Sputnik. genie

I like that 2nd from last shot the best, with the "sky and stars" in the backdrop. Funny, I didn't think of a museum like this existing in Russia. How foolish of me. Glad to see it.

Of course I love the reflections and the fabulous pictures of the museums znd, again, knowing that these kind of things are available in Russia (for anyone to see)... hut I also must say that I love that Richard was able to go off on his own while you did your thing on board. I really like that the cruise made these choices available.
