Each week we receive, at the website Grandma's Goulash, a prompt photo to inspire us to write a short story (140 words) or a very, very short story (140 characters, including spaces and punctuation).
There is also a word of the week, chosen by Grandma's daughter before she ever sees the photo.
This week's word is "repugnant" and we have to decide if we want to try to fit it into a story about this photo. There's no winner or loser, it's just for fun, and there are no extra points for using the word. We can challenge ourselves with it, or not.
With wine on their heads, the girls danced, but their boyfriends thought how repugnant the girls would be with wine spilled on them.

The boyfriends would probably much prefer that their girls would drink the wine than spill it, I'm sure.
Cute one, Kay.
Definitely repugnant :-) Nice one.
Hi Kay ~~ I'm thinking that they are already repugnant. I suppose their breath smells bad but I guess it would be worse for the clothes to smell of wine.
..
Rumour has it, the boys are enterprising "youtes," who will pretend to be dogs. Lap dogs, that is, trained to "lap" up any mess. They'll literally "lick" the wine-stained girl situation in no time, to be sure! They're trained, ya know. LOL!
Have a wonderful week,

Luckily there's not too much wine in the bottles.
Kay,
It takes great talents to do a balancing act.I find them to be captivating! Great verse!

Pretty girls and it is extremely distasteful unacceptable and repugnant to waste all that good wine by spilling it all over!!
Happy merrymaking to them!!
Those guys are more fastidious than most of the ones I know! lol Fun microfiction, Kay.
Balance, ladies, it's all about balance!
Cute!
:)
Indeed their dresses are so modest and beautiful!
I so hope the girls ditch the boys and keep the wine for themselves.
