| Sunshine in my eyes can make me cry |
I spent most of my adult life living and working in or near Vancouver, British Columbia.
Residents of that beautiful and vibrant city have access to concerts by many of the world's greats.
One such singer was John Denver, who died much too young, and I am grateful I was given the opportunity to see him perform.
My friend Judith had tickets for the press box, and we had to walk across a high catwalk to reach it. I was terrified, and almost didn't get there, believe me. But I'm very glad I did.
This is one of the songs John Denver sang that night, modified only slightly for Thursday Theme Song.

Awww. I just know that John Denver would love Lindy too, just like all of us do! What a clever, cute post. I love John Denver's music. I have a double cd set of his stuff. When i was a teenager, i wanted to be able to write something like Annie's Song. I hope that I have.
I love John Denver's music. I am glad that you did indeed make it to that concert, I would have been terrified crossing the catwalk. (Something teens in the town that I grew up in did - not me, way too scary. But, my Mom, the biggest worry wart of all time, did)

Here is Jasmine's double again, only Jas got her curly locks shorn off last week - I am hoping it makes her look thinner before I take her to the vet, hee hee. I love that song by John Denver too, used to sing it a lot back in The Day.
Hi Kay, I am glad you liked John Denver. We did too. Even went to see and hear him sing when he came to Houston. To bad he was killed, his plane just wouldn't fly as good as a store-bought one.

I loved John Denver and I do love that song. I remember it in a movie too. A sad movie, I recall.
