Shadow Shot Sunday 2: alpine streams

From the trees and bushes beside them to the bridges crossing over them, there are always shadows to be found on or near streams in the Swiss Alps, as we discovered during a trip on the Glacier Express train in April, 2011.

An awesome adventure that must have been on the Glacier Express! These photos suggest that you must have been very close to the glacier! Fascinating!

Even though it's April, it still looks pretty cold...even with the sunshine and shadows! Enjoy!

Beautiful photos. I imagine that trip was a beautiful scenic one, as shows in your photos. Along the water's edge is usually a wonderful place to find shadows, reflections and beautiful photo opts.
Happy Sunday!!

Definitely a glacial stream. The colour gave it away. - Margy
