From the trees and bushes beside them to the bridges crossing over them, there are always shadows to be found on or near streams in the Swiss Alps, as we discovered during a trip on the Glacier Express train in April, 2011.

An awesome adventure that must have been on the Glacier Express! These photos suggest that you must have been very close to the glacier! Fascinating!
Even though it's April, it still looks pretty cold...even with the sunshine and shadows! Enjoy!
Love those icy shots!
Kay Ma'am,
Rivers fascinate me. It brings back the carefree days of youth. Now these are just memories. Beautiful pics!

lovely water photo/shadows...
Alpine shadows! Lovely shots from what I'm sure was a wonderful adventure.
Beautiful photos. I imagine that trip was a beautiful scenic one, as shows in your photos. Along the water's edge is usually a wonderful place to find shadows, reflections and beautiful photo opts.
Happy Sunday!!
Great shots! Love the last photo. Would have loved to have been there to take pictures.
Wonderful shadows and that must have been a wonderful trip.
Definitely a glacial stream. The colour gave it away. - Margy
