the rainbow
named Rose
is a beauty found
in a garden
in the sky,
with colors
no one before
has ever seen
in a rainbow
or in a flower.
Posted in response to the challenge offered by Ella to the writers' group Imaginary Garden with Real Toads.

Just stopping by to wish you a happy weekend, Kay!
This is just pretty!
I know right...captured hope in a flower or it is captured color in hope~ Your poem makes me ponder this magic! :D (((hugs)))
I can picture the rainbow in the garden in the sky
What beauty you have given this rainbow flower.
That picture looks like something edible, and your poem on it is delicious, Kay.
lovely, Kay - Ella's rainbow rose immortalized in your words
Kay, what a beautiful poem to accompany Ella's photo. Here's mine:

I enjoy your poetry. Well done.
Hope to sit in the sun and write, soon! Spring is coming!!!!
The colours are astounding - kind of reinvents our notion of the rose.
You gave me the opportunity to ponder the colors of the rainbow, where we see them, where they hide. Brilliant!
I like the image your words conjure for me.
This poem lifted my thoughts to the sky....always a lovely feeling!
i wish someone would give me a bouquet of rainbows like that for my birthday
