in which Grandma posts a prompt photo every week and her daughter, Calico, suggests a word of the week before seeing the photo. Writer-bloggers are to write a short story of 140 words based on the prompt, or a short-short microfiction of 140 letters including spaces and punctuation.
Above is my contribution for today. 140 characters, using the week's word:
serendipity.

That made me smile!
Now that's just bad luck. nice one.
A fastidious raccoon! LOL He struck out in the garden, though. Looks plump to me...he must have a stash elsewhere. :)
I like raccoons! I collect stuffed toy ones.
Aww, poor Rocky...his cheer turned quickly to dejection. I'm sure that when the vegetable garden is in he'll be happy again.
Cute 'coon... serendipity is hard to use.
Poor Rocky's serendipity turned to zemblanity rather quickly! :)
Nice use of the prompts, Kay, but sort of a sad little micro story.

Aw, poor Rocky. The raccoons who visit our yard never find food either but there is always water.
Haha! Good and succinct!
Aww, poor Rocky;-)
Rocky may clean his food, but I'm betting he doesn't clean up after he eats. A tragic tale for Rocky, but quite serendipitous for that gardener. :D
