Watery Canet Plage, Catalan coast, France

Posted for Watery Wednesday, wherein
2sweetnsaxy (aka T. Bruce Photography) invites us to get our eyes wet.

These photos are the last in a series on Canet Plage (Canet Beach) in southern France.
Sailing, swimming, sunning, funning...activities abound in this pretty town in
the Mediterranean area of Languedoc-Roussillon known as the Catalan Coast.

I do like the Langedoc area of France. More laid back and 'real' than a lot of Provence.

Lovely shots for this WW Kay! I'd love to be on that sailboat.

That sculpture on top of the round building is interesting. I wonder if it is meant to represent a splash of water?

It always pleases me to see a fountain that actually works! (I've seen too many dry ones in my travels recently.)

MIST ON THE OCEAN

Mist on the ocean,
Mist on the sea,
Mist on the meadow,
Mist on the tree;

Dew on the grasses,
Dew on the rose,
Dew in the garden,
Dew on my clothes;

All of this wetness,
It’s plain to see,
Promises blessings
For you and me!

I probably say it every time you post photos of water--but this post truly refreshes my soul! Thank you, from the heart of the southern New Mexico desert.

All that blue looks sooo inviting, Kay. But the water does appear a bit too chilly for my skin, although my mother, who lived in that region for a long time, would certainly have dived right in!

Saw your link over at Mr. Puddy's... had to come a visit a fellow Albertan!

Enjoyed my browse through your interesting place..... especially enjoyed your puppy pics. She's a doll, you can tell! And well loved too!

Your photos give us lots of glimpses into the spots you've to which you've traveled.... that sail in the middle of all that blue is a fav!

Wishing you more glimpses of heaven in unexpected places....
