The water there is clean and clear, with the bottom readily visible to passersby. My husband managed to capture a couple of shots of marine life as he strolled Collioure's scenic waterfront during our March/April trip to Europe this year.
I found a shady place to sit while taking my own photos, and caught up with him later, after most of his exploring was done.

Oh Kay, this brings back memories... Collioure definitely is one of my favorite places in that area. I spent several weeks in two summers in Argeles (when it was still a quiet little place) and we often went to Collioure just to stroll around the port to watch the fishermen and later eat delicious seafood in one of the many little restaurants. Long long time ago...
What a lovely series of sunny photos! The water looks so clear and clean! Have a great week, Kay!
very nice shots.

Hope you are having a nice and happy week****
The water is so clear, what a great place to photography marine creatures. You both got some beautiful photos, this looks like a great place to explore.
Oh gorgeous! More of that bright blue sky. You sure saw a lot on your trip. Great shots. Enjoy the week. It's raining here today in Nor Cal! Late June rain? Huh?
Beautifully captured Kay!
MY Watery Wednesday
Spectacular scenery with such clear beautiful water...so inviting and alluring. I would be tempted to swim there but not in San Francisco's numbing waters.

How great that you could both go out and do your own thing! Art and I take photos of the same thing so we have tons of the same photos. You and Dick had such an amazing trip!
Beautiful once again....your blog is like a travel brochure!!
SUN TEA

I'm envious...looks like a wonderful place to visit! I can see why Matisse enjoyed it so much!
The seawater is very clean, and the first two pictures look like they were taken in a clean pond or a pool. The sea seems to change color depending on where the picture was taken. Thanks for sharing.
It is very encouraging to see that there are places in the world were the water is so clear one can see to the bottom. I wonder if that cute little fish can see all the life that is at the top. :)
I always enjoy seeing water so clean and clear!
I don't know which of you I would have joined...
Wonderful shot for watery Wednesday!! :)
great scenery!
