I don't know why they did this.
Who’s squeaking out with some help from her toy cow?
Making a noise that shows us she cares?
Who wants to go for a walk with her dad now?
Nobody knows it’s Lindy.
Went to the groomer's for a new haircut,
Disguised from everybody she sees,
We know it’s her, without all her curls, but
No one else knows it’s Lindy.
And Lindy has big brown eyes
That smile when her friends come by,
And she has a tail that wags
Among the crowds, among the crowds.
Who’s on a leash on the paths of the coulee,
Wagging at everybody she sees?
She’s reaching out to to say hi to a kitty
Who just doesn't know it’s Lindy.
Maybe I can get out, and run away.
Or maybe I'll just have a nap, instead. Until my curls grow back.
