Canet Plage, YELLOWS on Catalan coast, France

© Photos by Kay Davies and Richard Schear, April 2011

Christmas in April in Canet Plage? LOL

I would love to have this house because it's within walking distance of the bus and the beach!
Several mellow yellows reflected in the windows here.

Posted for  Mellow Yellow Monday, hosted every week
by Drowsey Monkey. Thanks, Drowsey!

These photos were taken in April at the Mediterranean seaside town of  Canet Plage (Canet Beach) in the south of France, near Perpignan, not far from the Spanish border. The Languedoc-Roussillon area, where Canet Plage is located, is historically considered part of Catalonia (Catalunya).

A house close to the bus and beach, does it get any better? The beach is gorgeous, I would love to have my toes in that sand right now. The Santa Claus train it so cute!

Is it just the bus and beach, or something else too? I love the simple design of the house. The combination of red, white, and blue is beautiful.

Hi Kay, I came across Languedoc-Roussillon in the form of a bottle the other day and very good it was too, well recommended, so it's not just the beaches that are famous. I'm just so jealous of all these fantastic places you visit. Carry your bags sometime.
