@ Write Girl ...he is a penguin. Really. The Galapagos Islands, on the equator, are the farthest north wild penguins can be found. Unfortunately, their habitat is being threatened by changing ocean currents, which are taking away their food source. —K

What time of year did you go to the Galapagos, Kay? I am still anticipating traveling there after my husband is finished with his cancer treatment. It will be our celebration. I mentioned penguins there the other day and some people thought I was nuts. I am glad I stopped by here to confirm their presence.

Hey I don't think that is a Redpoll Kay but where you live are lots of Redpolls but no Penguins. How did you manage to find a Penguin all alone?

I love penguins
there was a news clip this morning of 2 penguins in first class on a flight to NY to promote a Discovery Channel documentary
they were entertaining the passengers simply by walking up and down the aisle
