K is for Kay and koi, at Pono Kai Resort, Kapaa, Kauai

Pono Kai Koi Pond                   Photos by Kay Davies, December, 2010

"What do you mean, you don't have any fish food? They sell it in the office, you know."

"I'll swim over here, maybe there's someone with fish food."

"You again? Still with the camera? And no food? Feesh, some people!"

As she swims away, the pretty white koi meets the grandpappy of the pond. "Kay doesn't have any food," she warns him, "just a camera. Some tourists are so rude. She's probably a blogger!"

What better than to showcase the letter “K” with the three letter word that belongs to you … my good friend Kay!! It must be neat when one letter of the alphabet sounds like someone is calling your name. It’s a very exclusive club; I think there are only two or three other letters that sound like names. Love your hungry little fish story, by the way. Hope it got fed by someone in the end! :))

I have never seen this even though we go to Kapaa each year and stay at the Beach Buoy. This must be only a stone's throw from us. Beautiful Kauai!

Awww... this is so kute, Kay. We were almost going to Kauai last month. It's a good thing we didn't since they had that very destructive storm.
