Beautiful location! My parents used to go to Spain regularly, but in the south around Malaga.

Another gorgeous place on the planet you made me aware of, Kay! The church nestled amid the hills is a picture of serenity. These are such incredible feats of architecture … the palace transformed into a hotel looks like a fortress.

I'm betting Roger is right! It's so great to find info about places you didn't even know existed.

That's quite the hotel (ex-palace) and church for what looks like an otherwise unremarkable town! What took you there, Kay?

Yes, I've missed you and blogging. I'm home in Manila for short ten-day break, then go back to China, where access to blogs is difficult. Also, my time is occupied with my consulting work and developing new business opportunities. Hope you are well and smiling, Kay!

Hi Kay, I finally caught up with you and hoping to see the redpolls but they aren't there. I can definitely settle for Spain (I can smell the iberico jamon now) but Illueca is a place I haven't been and I'll have to wait until Menorca time.
