Weekend Reflections: Uglich, Russia

© Photos by Richard Schear

Reflections in the historic small city of Uglich, on the Volga River—from the light reflected in Russian Orthodox icons, to the gleam of a samovar, to reflections in car windows and in the gold color of store lettering, we present this assortment to you as this week's submission to

I like the vase. It is funny to see how you switch between the golden retriever and the Russia trip. Both are fabulous.

Greetings,
Filip

Kay Ma'am,
You got on to 'Champ', I'm glad. In fact I got the idea after seeing your comments in the previous post. Why not a posting specially dedicated to the Champ instead of just a passing reference, I thought.

Your Russian sojourn is fantastic, pics and all. One I've not gone to yet.Language may present problems I think!

That is a beautiful samovar. A person I worked for in AK had one but it was plain compared to this one.

I love that house!

A beautiful samovar, was it there for show or did you get your tea from it? x

That samovar certainly looks like one for special occasions; like when, having distinguished guests. Very nice. Thanks for sharing.
