This is my submission in response to the photo provided by Grandma's Goulash for the short-short-story meme Succinctly Yours. We are challenged to write about the photo in either 140 words or less, or 140 characters, including spaces and punctuation.
If we are able to include the word of the week, chosen by Grandma's daughter before she sees the picture, all the better. This week's word is "toil".
Here is this week's photo, followed by my 140-character response.
Double stubble, toil or bubble, I'll stamp the fire out, no trouble.
"Marcus, keep your bare feet away from that fire!"
"And don't misquote."
(I'm assuming that's Mom rushing up from the water, and the last line is spoken by a terribly superior elder sister sitting just out of camera range.)

Hi Kay ~~ That's what I'd call a true "hot-foot".
..
He looks like he was enjoying himself 0 LOL
Ooh, ouch - the confidence of youth!
Oh I think his feet would burn. First line is pretty cute.
I laughed at "And don't misquote." Appropriate that it's the girl saying that. Thanks for the laugh, which I usually say about your SYs!
Much fun!!!!
Witty. You're good at this.

Great MF, a little playful in the beginning I thought! Enjoyed it.

Creative and fun... looks like we were on the same wavelength w/ the rocky shore.

This month is slathered in a Halloweeny "frosting" that is YUM! (I love the All Hallow's Eve, don't you?!) Only one thing makes it better: your wItChY-WiTcHy Succintly Yours blurp --all double stubble, toil or bubblely-- sprinkled up top!
