Dick has been singing this song to Lindy for a while now, and I managed to find it on YouTube being played on the instrument I most like to play: a player piano!
This song dates back to 1911 and was played by the orchestra on the Titanic.
I've tweaked the lyrics to meet dog-walking requirements.

I am imaging Dick and Lindy out for a walk and Dick serenading the lovely Lindy with this song. Lindy would wag her tail and off they would go.

I cant BELIEVE that isnt my Jasmine in the photos. Their faces and body shapes are EXACTLY the same. I love the song your husband sings to Lindy - I always feel like I'm walking a walrus when I take Jas out:)
They DO know how to sleep in comfort, don't they? I love the photos of Lindy sleeping peacefully, head on pillow (and on her human's arm.) My dog does the same thing.

Awwwwwwwwwww, sweet as can be. Love the lyrics he makes up for dear Lindy....I sing to our Winston sometimes by singing "Winnie the Poo" Winnie the Poo...especially while cleaning out the you know what filled with poo. LOLOLOL
