hosted every week by Grandma at Grandma's Goulash.
She posts a photo to act as a prompt to writer-bloggers, who have a choice to write 140 words or less, or else 140 characters or less, including spaces and punctuation.
Grandma's daughter, before seeing the photo, offers the word of the week.
This week the word is pugnacious.
Here is my submission:
Lea's dad loaned the pugnacious grad girls two firehoses. The guys wanted a wet T-shirt contest, and now they were about to be the contest.

Today, our radio had a discussion. El Nina is coming this summer.
So water your garden before it gets too parched.
Dad didn't know, nor did the boys. Outsmarted and outpowered by the grad girls with 2 power hoses. Pugnacious indeed!
Way to go, girls! What a fun way to turn the table.
How funny! Great going, Kay! This photo reminded me of my son when he was a New Mexico fire fighter.
A contest too far. nice one :-)
Teehee!! That'll teach those guys what it's like to be ogled. On second thought, they'd probably love to be ogled.
