Then we are invited to take the two and try to weave them into a short story (140 words) or a microfiction story (140 characters including spaces and punctuation).
This week's word is ambivalent, and this unhappy, not very healthy pumpkin is to be our inspiration.
Wish us luck!

Lol - I was just about to roast some pumpkin seeds, not sure if I want to now!
It certainly does. Nice one.
You never cease to amaze me with your clever ideas.
Kay,
Great MF you managed it very well. I have as yet to come to terms with these for the time being!
Hank
Hahaha - Very well, and succinctly done!
Hmmm...hope you got my comment
You're just too clever and funny, Kay! :-)
@ Francisca — "Thank you, thank you, thank you very much," she responds humbly.
Seriously, thanks, Francisca, I appreciate it.
Love it! That's the way I feel about Christmas. Bah, Humbug!
LOL! Kay, I love this.
I'm with Dad and am betting the kids loved it too!
..
Aww poor kids - nice mum!
Way to go, Dad! That middle school humor always gets the kids (and adult kids) to laugh. I bet Mom was no longer ambivalent. Kudos for using the WOTW. I couldn't come up with a way to use it.
Like Dr.Bombay always says, "Nothing quite like a batch of pumpkin throw-up to ease what ails you." LOL! Yep, you've got to know your "medicine" and when to take it. LOLouder!

Burp! :-)
Leave to Dad to come up with pumpkin puke as a remedy. LOL Nice one.
Well, it made me laugh! Nice one.
True parental humor. Just hope the kids don't retaliate with a little more of the upchuck. lol
I've finally posted the next photo. Thanks for all your visits and comments. We followed the loss of internet with the whole family getting sick. It cheered me to see so many visits to my blog.
