SkyWatch Friday: Dick's day in Moscow

The second of our three days in Moscow aboard the Viking Surkov was a day of free time. I chose to stay on the ship, to use my computer and get a bit of rest, while my husband decided to find the nearest subway station and go into the city to visit a couple of museums.

Even though the weather was cloudy and sometimes drizzly, with an occasional hint of blue, he enjoyed his trip via Moscow's renowned subway system to the Polytechnic Museum and the Aerospace Museum.

SKY-SEEKERS

The sky-seekers, some people say,
Do not favor night over day;
They always look up,
The sky is their cup,
And keeping it full is just play!

I really want to know Moscow. In the first picture, I enjoyed the detail of the bird.
I will follow your blog, ok?

Your husband is so brave! I love my adventures on the T in Boston and on the subway in New York, but I always need company to get me going there!

The sky looks pretty gray that day! But it's what's under it that counts on a trip like that.

what beautiful examples of the varied architecture of Moscow. I love the statue of the woman holding the ship over her head! I'd like seeing that every day. every single photo is wonderful with the backdrop of moody clouds. I've never seen a ferris wheel like that - it's unusual and beautiful. great shots all. happy day to you Kay.
