Second Succinctly Yours for today

I don't usually submit twice, but I've seen it done. This came to me while I was thinking about something else, and I just can't resist.

Here, again, is the photo prompt, along with my new brilliant(?) idea for Succinctly Yours, hosted every week by Grandma's Goulash, when we're invited to write about the photo in either
1) 140 words or...
2) 140 characters including spaces and punctuation.

Begging blogging pardon for a second submission...and I hope everyone in Canada had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend.

Photo provided by Grandma's Goulash

Go, Granny, go, Granny, go, Granny, go! It's the little old lady from Pasadena, released after appealing her third speeding ticket.

131 characters, including punctuation and spaces, but does not include the word of the week, which is resplendent.

You new story is really nice. It reminds me of the song sung by Wilson Pickett, Mustang Sally:
(Mustang Sally, now baby, oh lord,
Guess you better slow that mustang down....(Huh...oh Lord)
You been running all over town...OH!
Gotta put your flat feet on the ground...
All you wanna do is ride around Sally...
(Ride, Sally, Ride)
All you wanna do is ride around Sally...
(Ride, Sally, Ride)
...)

@ Jim — and your comment reminds me of the movie "The Commitments" about an Irish band playing "Mustang Sally"!

@ Lynne — Little Old Lady from Pasadena used to be my theme song until I had cataract surgery. I remember when the Beach Boys sang it in the 60s, but it didn't become my theme song until the 80s. LOL

Dear Kay, your story also reminds me of Mustang Sally. Brilliantly written "succintly yours" You have so many words pouring from that brilliant brain of yours, sigh, wish I was nearer you. (((hugs))) Jo

Funny! This meme fascinates me because I can't even say "great post" in that few characters. Good job.

Had I mentioned that there's a fee for double submissions? :D

I'm so glad that you did add this one. What fun.

I love it! I hope she didn't lose her license. Now that song is going through my head. Thanks for the laughs again!
