Pet Pride: the wind in Lindy's hair

What's a girl to do? I get my daddy to comb me and brush me, and then he takes me out for a walk at the coulee, where the prairie wind ruffles up my curls and makes the hair at the tops of my ears stand upright. What to do, what to do?

Soon after this photo was taken, Lindy and her dad went for an evening walk, when it was too dark to take a camera along. Lindy spotted four deer. She hasn't seen deer for months and months, but they're coming back to our neighborhood now that the weather is getting cooler.

PET PRIDE

Lindy says, "Hi, Bozo, does the wind ever mess up your hair-do?"

Tell Lindy that the ruffled hair look is good on her, it gives her a youthful look. - Margy

Lindy is lucky to still have hair, most of mine are long gone. (Absent without leave).
