Critters: from the ridiculous to the supine

Dick saw this grinning boar's head (left) while on tour in the city of Uglich, Russia. I think I'm glad I didn't see it. We both saw this creative critter (right) made of old tires and silver paint in the garden of a retired teacher after our group from the Viking Surkov enjoyed an afternoon visit with her.

I had seen this happy Yellow Labrador from a distance, but Dick got two photos of him, one as he was walking, very much a man on a mission, and another after he had reached his objective: a shady place to nap on a sunny day (below).

Hi I am new here, first I love what you said on your header. Second, the photos are cute especially the 2 for the dog.

Oh I love that dog on a mission. He looks very well fed and confident. I don't like stuffed animals either. Have a great weekend, Kay. (((Hugs))) Jo

Haha! I'm also glad I didn't see the real thing for the first pic. The second one is very creative. The dog has a collar. Wonder what mission he could be up to.

Very nice pictures of the Labrador. Relaxed walk...and drop for a nap in the park. What a life!

Teachers everywhere are creative. We made lots of "art" with bags, cartons and such when I was a first grade teacher. I remember at Thanksgiving we used paper towel or toilet paper tubes to make pilgrims and Indians (US style) for table decorations. - Margy
