We are to imagine the photo is the front cover of a book, and are to write a 150 words (no more) as a "blurb" for the back cover, to convince browsers to become buyers immediately.

THE PATH

Becky knew there were raccoons in these woods. She was certain, and equally certain she needed a raccoon cap, with the tail hanging down the back, in order to become a heroine of the Old Wild West.
She wasn’t very old, only six, but her brother Dawson had told her about the Wild Old West. He said all the heroes wore coonskin caps and carried long muskets.
Becky didn’t know much about the requisite outfit, but she'd been told women in the Wide Wild West wore long dresses, aprons, and sturdy boots.
Therefore, heading for the the path in her search for a raccoon, she wore her long nightgown, her mother’s apron tied around her twice, and her winter boots, on that spring day.
When she disappeared, dressed so distinctively, everyone was sure they'd find her easily.
Why couldn’t they? Can Dawson help them? Why not?

Why can't Dawson help??!! Oh, the suffering you are causing me by dangling these little tidbits! And the picture you created of the missing little girl just pulls at my bonnet strings. Needless to say, you hooked me for sure!

You drew me in with the adorable Becky and then twisted it with her disappearance. I haven't read the book yet and I already care about the character. Not an easy thing for a writer to do. Nice job. I'll buy it!
Hi Kay, well you began with Mr. Dave E. Crawkit as the author. He ought to know a thing or two about the wide-wild-west. Certainly an intriguing book blurb. Some humor, leading to dire suspense, and leaving the reader wishing for good. Interesting!
