Beautiful skies and I'm so glad you had those to enjoy as well on your trip to Russia! Have really enjoyed your captures from Russia! Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Fabulous photos from a most intersting place for travel adventures, love it when other bloggers take us on tour to experience places through their camera.
Great tour Kay!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
nice shots
happy SWF
It's not surprising that the best part of Russian skies are these great domes.
Beautiful pictures -- loving the travelogue. Changing skies make for the most interesting pictures. But it's actually hard to concentrate on sky when I am seeing the River and the wonderful buildings.
Interesting how the skies are so much more transient than the magnificent landmarks of St Petersburg!

Fantastic shots from such a beautiful city.
those fast changing skies offer endless opportunities for photographers!
I too crave to visit this place. Such wonderful scenes shared. Thanks!
Seems like they have different looking skys each day.
Beautiful architecture, and the sky scenes are lovely Kay. What a wonderful experience this must have been..
Beautiful place. I would like to see this in person.
Thank you for the wonderful pictures of St.Petersburg. From the beautiful canals, St Isaak's cathedral and statue of Peter the Great to the skies above it, it was lovely to see again. You probably were told that St.Petersburg was known as the Venice of the north, just as Riga was known as the Paris of the north.
What a marvellous adventure to go on!
These are fascinating views Kay!
I really enjoyed your travels through your photos. Very astounding domes and architecture.
A perfect day to be taking photos of the skies!
Nice postcards from Russia :)
Especially I like the second and the last one.
Regards!
Very changeable skies amid that wonderful architecture.
some really dramatic skies, kay! i really like how you've framed the top and bottom photo. very lovely.
Love your pictures, Kay! ~~ We took the Viking Surkov in October 2006. Also we went back to St. Petersburg in Spring of 2010.
Your pictures bring back pleasant memories. Thank you.

Lovely skies and magnificent buildings. What a wonderful trip!!! Have a lovely weekend. Mickie :)
I'm not sure which I adore most, the skies or the architecture. I do know I love the second photo with the white tiles on the domes.
Gorgeous, especially the last one. I hope I get to go to Russia one of these days...
