Canet Plage SKY over Catalan coast, France

Photos taken along the Catalan coast of southern France, not far from the Spanish border,
during our March/April holiday in Europe this year.
This photo was taken facing the Pyrenees, barely visible in the mist.
If the sky isn't blue enough, just wait five minutes!

Up close, the lighthouse doesn't look quite as white as it does from a distance (see above).

I like those light standards!
Shame about the mist shrouded Pyrenees.

I love lighthouses and I love going to France. I've never been to the South of France but your photos make it very tempting.

A lovely post, Kay! I adore lighthouses, especially weathered ones...and do like how the lamposts in the first photo and the graceful curve of the glider seem to echo one anothers lines.

We're still waiting to see sky that blue here on the coast, however...LOL.

Gorgeous Kay. One of the best glider/balloon/whatever they're called shots I've ever seen. I'd love to be up there!

I enjoyed the distant shot of the lighthouse. Would you happen to have any lighthouse picture taken sometime around the evening? Thanks for your post.

You are right! That lighthouse is a lot better from a distance! But I love the first shot, with the mountains in the background!
