Yellow in Matisse's Collioure

Photos taken during our March/April vacation in Europe. The famous French artist Henri Matisse found inspiration in the beautiful light of Collioure on the Mediterranean coast of France near the Spanish border. So did we.

It's hard not to be inspired by such interesting scenes. Such beautiful colors on the houses & they all go together so nicely too.

What great shots of the buildings, narrow streets, and shops you had the pleasure of visiting on your trip to Europe. Always fun to see other's pictures of "faraway" places. Have a nice week. Mickie :)

First, a word of thanks to those people who have colored their houses to not only bring pleasure to themselves, but also anybody who passes by. Thank you as always, for sharing what you have appreciated in your travels. Beautiful, relaxing pictures!
