Skies between Strasbourg and Metz

We had wonderful weather on our March/April trip to Europe, and when we did have cloudy skies, they were usually beautiful like these seen from the train between Strasbourg and Metz, in France.

You got beautiful captures.

Both pictures are so different from each other. I do like the second one more, quite likely due to the contrast between the sky and earth. There is a very peaceful look with the cloud cover, and open spaces. Thanks!

Great skies! Enough clouds to make them interesting but still blue! That's what I like!

Such lovely clouds--all we have to do is "look up" for a great show. Have a nice weekend. Mickie :)

I especially like the sky over that vast expanse of fields, with not a human in sight.

MOST WONDERFUL

The sky’s a most wonderful thing,
Enjoyed by both peasant and king;
No matter the eye
That sees the bright sky
The proper response is to sing!
