beautiful sequence of lovely landscapes - stunning!
Breathtaking captures and such a gorgeous place! Hope you have a wonderful weekend, Kay! Enjoy!

Looks like you got closer to the Swiss Alps than I did Kay - flying over at 35,000 feet on the way to Cyprus. By the way, don't worry about ringing, it is safe,strictly controlled and conducted only after years of training.
Glorious shots, Kay! Someday, when finances allow, I'd like to take that same train ride and see with my own eyes what you saw.
BE MY COMPANION
Come here, my shadow,
Do not delay;
Be my companion,
Show me the way;
Teach me your secrets,
Chant as we go
Of light and darkness—
Make my heart glow!

Shadows here and here
So beautiful!!
Can I invite you to join the meme I just launched? It is called Color Connection, you can just post anything with color of your choice. Hope you can join the fun. Thank you!
The contours of this alp give the shadows a place to nestle among the Spring snow. It is large and rugged, yet its simplicity is where its beauty lies. The view from above is stunning in its beauty, and the locals living in that village have a lovely view, looking rither up or down the mountain...
fantastic scenery.
seen in comfort, from a train, to my mind is just as exciting as hiking through on foot.
Now you're making me want to explore the Alps (I'll start with the French ones... :-))
Kay are they not AWESOME !!
Great way to take shots of those glorious mountains : )

Looks cold, but also incredibly breathtaking. Such majesty and beauty...
These shadowy snowy peaks are magnificent! To view such icy splendour from the comfort of a train must have been a wonderful experience!
What a beautiful place to look for shadows!
A beautiful sequence of shots Kay!
wow, i would be seeing that soon!
How lovely the mountains are, Kay, with that soft light illuminating the peaks and the dark shadows underscoring them! It must have been an enchanting train ride, altogether! I know I'm very much enjoying the chance to share it now...:)

Oh wow, what awesome views. Great shadow shots and I love the view down to the valley.
Brrrr! Looks oh-so-chilly, yet very breathtaking! What an adventure and a gorgeous collection of shadow shots! I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend :)
What makes mountains beautiful, I wonder. They don't have symmetry, yet have form. They peak, yet roll. There is much to a mountain. The pictures are beautiful; being there must be something else.
simply stunning. and refreshing... we are stiflingly hot here...
Swiss Alps. Oooo-la-la. Love these ShadowShots.
what lovely photos! I love the effect of the sun on the snow!
The swiss alps are awesome, and your photos are beautiful!
My last trip to Switzerland to visit friends near Fribourg, we stayed a night in Interlaken. We wanted to go up to Jungfrau, to th highest railway station in the world but, the weather was so terrile,we were content to stay warm and snug in the bars of Interlaken!
Switzerland is such a breathtakingly beautiful place, isn't it?
