Pink, pinker, panther, for Thursday Theme Song

© Photos by Kay Davies, May, 2011
The ornamental crabapple tree in our front yard is one of my favorite things. In the month of May, even after the worst winter in a long time (2010/2011) it faithfully produces incredibly pink blossoms. See next post (above) for a green song.

Oh wow! That is just so incredibly gorgeous! I used to love seeing crabapple blossoms in Illinois. It was always such an exuberant sign of spring.

What a gorgeous tree, those pink blooms are amazing. Inspector Clouseau would swear that he had found the pink panther if he saw this tree.

What glorious masses of blossom. You don't make crabapple jam or jelly then?
