Oh deer, it's Our World Tuesday

There's still quite a bit of snow around our yard, and a lot of ice on the roads where the snow has melted and then frozen, but over at the coulee where Dick and Lindy like to walk, the sun has melted most of the snow. The ground, unlike the roads, has absorbed the moisture, leaving the walking paths clear and the sun-brightened grasses available for grazing by the small herd of mule deer we call "Lindy's deer."

It must be nice to see the sun and the grass again. The deer must enjoy a good feed too. I bet Lindy loves her walks.

They don't seem bothered by visitors.

What a delightful place to walk. And real dirt!
Well, we have dirt in the shed, but it's pretty frozen.
You've had such a time with weather out your way.
This week is frightfully cold.
Happy Lindy!

Chow time!!! A welcome sight for all I am sure, though I always feel the time between the melt and the true spring is in some ways the bleakest time...mainly due to mud!

On other matters, watch out for top secret file in near future...;*> YAMxx

I like the cluster of swooping little hills at the coulee where Dick and Lindy wander. The fact there is less snow is a bonus … as is knowing that Lindy has her own herd of deer!
