I've never been to Bonn, but I've spent a lot of time on the Rhine. We were on a cruise from Amsterdam to Budapest on the Rhine, Main and Danube rivers, but I seldom went ashore because I was very weak and unwell. Therefore, I spent a lot of time looking at the beautiful Rhine River.
It was a winter cruise, and, while other passengers were ashore visiting Germany's famous Christmas markets, I was observing life on the river.

Cool response to the prompt - I imagine you could also have written about dining on the Rhine!
We do not have winter here in the Philippines so I cud only imagine what it would be like but come summer, everyone is out and having fun. Awesome place to do some water recreation. Thanks for sharing.

That’s too bad that you were not feeling well during your trip in Germany. But then as you say you had plenty of time to look at the Rhine – and now you can write about it!

That was really too bad that you got so sick during your cruise, Kay. We're going on a Mediterranean cruise in fall and hope we can stay healthy for it.
With the repetition of your words I feel the movement of the rowers...Great write..I would love to take a European cruise
