Weekend Reflections: northern reflections

My husband took the following series of reflection photos while taking time out for a walk during a business trip in northern Alberta's Fort McMurray early this month. There's a beaver dam in the middle of the fourth photo, with evidence of a tree felled by beavers in the bottom righthand corner.

Ah, so I now read below you've been back in BC! How lovely. No, no plans for me yet, you'll be one of the first to know, Kay! In the meantime, Dick's been shooting reflections, I see... and it's his fifth shot here that wins the day for me. :-)

I agree with Francisca... the cloud reflecting on the water is the winner.

What busy builders those beavers are! I love Dick's photo with the cloud, sun and tree reflections. Amazing. Hope you're having a wonderful weekend. Hugs to you and a pat for darling Lindy. Jo

I read that book about the Chilcotin called Three Against the Wilderness. They wrote about reintroducing the beaver to the area and all the dam building they did. - Margy
