Thursday Theme Song: muddled Xmas medley

I use the term Xmas advisedly, because these are not Christmas carols,
they are merely Christmas-season songs.
*
Some of these I mangled myself, others have been muddled by other people,
and the last one was written by an expert.
*
Have a hummy, drummy Christmas,
Underneath the mistletoe at night!
Snow white bloomers,
Hanging on the Christmas tree to dry,
What a laugh it would have been
If Mommy had only seen
Laundry on the Christmas tree tonight!

*
Tinkerbell, Tinkerbell, flying all the way,
Oh what fun is to ride on a pirate ship today!

*

Silver belles, silver belles,
It’s Christmas time for old ladies.

*
I want a hippopotamus for Christmas,
No other kind of potamus will do.
*
and my
favorite,
from
Walt Kelly's
Pogo...
Deck the halls with Boston Charlie
Walla, Walla, Wash., and Kalamazoo.

HA! I did a double take on Walla Walla, WA! It does sound funny in the mix, maybe that's why folks always laugh when I tell them where I live.

Love your cool mix of songs! You found some really funny ones. I love the hippopotamus song!
