Mellow Yellow Monday
the mellow meme hosted every Monday by Drowsey Monkey. Thanks, Drowsey!
This week I'm featuring a yellow-flowering plant we admired in April, but whose name we don't know.
Photo taken during our spring vacation in Europe, 2011.

Interesting flowers.
I've never seen anything like it! mellow & lovely too.
What a beautful plant. Glad you're having a great visit. Take care and safe travels, Kay. Blessings, Jo
Nice shot! I think this may be Chamaerops humilis - European or Mediterranean Fan Palm.
Oh no, no photo. Kay, when I first opened your blog the frame for the photo was there but no photo. Now nothing. Looks like Blogger is playing tricks because I can see all of your other photos.
Lovely! Have a fabulous week.

Have a good week!!
Just got news that my mother is just fine. How is that for a call from the hospital? After being literally ill with worry for four weeks, it feels like it is going to be a nice Christmas.
What a strange plant, looks like a sponge !
Kay,
Looks like an ordinary palm tree but it isn't.It has an unusual flowering make-up. Not dates nor oil palm but very colorful and pretty.Great!

I have no idea what they are, but they are very pretty!
Looks like this is a palm tree.

This plant says "look but don't touch". The leaves look a bit like an agave but agaves usually hold their flowers high.
That's interesting....
Visiting for MYM! Hope you can visit mine too..
