Book Blurb Friday: long flight of stairs

The suspect was halfway up the stairs when Sergeant B.B. Friday turned into the stairway.
Just as he shouted, “Halt!” the suspect tripped over a block of concrete and fell, sprawling on the steps.
When Sergeant Friday handcuffed and turned the suspect around, he was shocked to discover he’d been chasing a girl dressed in jeans and a black hoodie. She also wore black shoes—the kind the victims described the perpetrator as wearing.
However, the victims had been certain of one thing. They were all absolutely positive they’d seen a man running away from the store, but this young woman could never, B.B. Friday knew, have been mistaken for a man.

Book Blurb Friday
hosted by Lisa Ricard Claro at Writing in the Buff.
Each week, Lisa posts a photo (this time by Ashley Ortiz) for writer-bloggers to imagine as the cover of a book. Keeping the image in mind, we are asked to write a blurb of less than 150 words for the back of that book, in order to entice browsers to become buyers.

That's an amazing picture... it could lead to so many different views. I love yours!

I didn't see that coming. I'd be tempted to buy the book, just because I'd want to see what other surprises lay within its covers. The mystery and possible romance add additional lures.

This is great. Was she a diversion, I wonder? You leave us with many questions ... will he fall in love with her at the end, saving her from a life of crime? Can't wait to find out the answers.
