Pet Pride, staring into the distance with mayhem in mind

"Look! Look, Dad, 'way over there, on the other side of the coulee, where the sun is setting!
Maybe they're good to eat! Can we go get 'em?"

"They might be good to eat, Lindy, but they're much larger than you are."

"That's okay, Dad, now there's only two of 'em. I can handle two of 'em!"
"Oh, Mom, I'm so sad. I saw some deer, hundreds of them, honest! I wanted to hunt them,
but Dad said no, so I had to sit in a snowbank and just look at them. Now I'm starving!"
Posted for Pet Pride, the photo meme inspired by Bozo in Mumbai.
Lindy is so depressed about deer hunting, she even forgot to ask me to say hi to Bozo this week.

Oh, Lindy. They are better to chase in your dreams. It's a lot warmer that way. - Margy

@ Margy - she has been outside twice since she got home from her walk. Now she has a better chance of seeing them, because she's looking out the front window. They often walk right past her window when they they're coming to eat the ornamental crabapples off our tree.

Poor Lindy - she certainly looked alert and ready for the off in the first photograph. Never mind, perhaps she had sweet dreams:-)
