My World through Dick's office window, screened here

                                                          Photos by Richard Schear
Usually, deer come after dark to eat our ornamental crabapples, but this young buck showed up a little early one day and Dick took these photos through the window of his home office. The window screen is just barely visible on the smaller photos, but you can definitely see it on the larger one. However, I enlarged this one so you could see the snow on the deer's eyelashes! Isn't he a beauty?
These were taken with my camera on my birthday, December 1. What a treat in my world!

Considering there’s a screen window between the camera and the deer, Kay, these are very good photos. I can see snow on the eyelashes. What beautiful creatures to have outside your window and how nice of you to feed them crabapples from your tree.

I love this post-deer are one of my favorite animals-how could anyone want to kill them!! Bambi ruined me!

Winter is hard on animals in the wild. He needed food to help him keep warm and couldn't afford to be cautious.

She is a beauty.
The one showing the screen looks like an effect almost like linen.

Great shots! I expect the deer do a job on the lower branches of your crabapples.

Kay, in some way I think the dear's tail look like a cat toy but when I see the horn , I think I should stop thinking about it : )

Nice office window view. Must be hard to get any work done. I'd be watching outside all of the time. - Margy

What wonderful captures! I'm always so thrilled to see deer - amazing that such large animals can melt into the trees so quickly.

Hi Kay, even without your description, I could see the thin screen. Very nice shots. They look so friendly to me.
