Deep-snow dog defies danger daily

"Okay, I got myself in here, don't worry, I'll get myself out."

"Hmm. Now, which foot first, the left or the right?"

Too adorable for words!

This reminds me of cross country skiing and trying to get up after a fall into fresh snow.
We have several kites wintering in the area. I was fortunate that this one was close to the trail. I've taken a lot of pictures of them but this is the best.

Ha - great shots - I have some a bit like that! Have you been subject to windy days and new snow drifts?

Lindy is such a lovely dog. She doesn't seem to mind the snow at all. Are you sure she doesn't have a little St. Bernard somewhere in those genes?

Oh that adorable face!

Perfect lighting from the on the photos. The pink hues reveal an early morning or dusk walk.
