Costa Rica camera critters are not all cute and cuddly

This cute little bird seems to be perched here to give directions to lost tourists.

Coatimundi

Above and below: two very different iguanas.

Pecary

Slow-moving millipedes are herbivores, while centipedes move faster to prey on other insects.

I like iguanas, they have such an old-world kind of feel to them. Although I'd rather not feel them. Hm...

Very nice captures! I am not into centipedes though lol.

Great shots. They are all cute - but perhaps not cuddly in the traditional sense. I do love lizards!

I sure won't find any of those in my backyard!

Great variety of shots. The coatimundi looks interesting. I guess it's hunting for a tasty supper of invertebrates?

Great shots. We came across a whole lot of igaunas when we went to the beach. I don't mind them from a distance but up close and personal--not so much!
