A great range of yellows! Very interesting market scene in Ecuador! I was intrigued how the women used long shawls ...especially for tying a little one on their back!
Kay,
First time, we look at the chinese artwork, we though it's painting but when we read it..we are surprised !

My Mellow Yellow Monday
Great shots. I love going to open-air markets.
My Blue and Mellow Yellow Monday.
I love the art work. The needlepoint is really exquisite. I bet it look a long time to finish!
I just love the Chinese needlework. So detailed, it must have taken ages to complete.
Wonderful images, Kay! I love the Autumn tree and the cute shot of the grandchildren. Happy MYM!
Your nephews remind me of my nephew and nieces too who loves to wear their favorite cartoon character costume. The Chinese needlework art is beautiful. It made me think how they could walk or stand(those time) when their feet are bound. In my native country Philippines we have open air market too, and love to go there because all the fruits and vegetables are fresh.
Great shots you have thanks for sharing!
Mellow Yellow Monday
wow, what an eclectic assortment of yellow!
I would have a difficult time with this meme. I like how it's on Mondays though, really sets a nice tone to the week.
Happy Monday to you, Kay!
Very Very Nice
Yellow is everywhere. That market is so vibrant and lively. I loved it!
Love both pictures !
Love the piece of art!
Gorgeous!
Hope you can drop by to peek at myentry, thank you!
That needlework is beautiful - so many painstaking hours of work. Gorgeous!
Hello dear Kay... are you feeling mellow this MYM? Your photos are a delight. In my very first apartment in Toronto as a young adult (hmmm... of 18) I had a Chinese needlepoint of herons framed on our wall; intricate indeed. Little did I know then that a dozen years later I'd be on a slow boat to China and never leave!
Great choices for MYM!
Thanks for stopping by!
Very nice set of pics!
The kids seem to be having good fun and the needlework is very nice!
Thanks for sharing;o)

Have a happy MYM****
Have you traveled almost all over the world except Mew Zealand?
@ Ann - Well, I wouldn't say almost everywhere in the world.
It's true I've never been to New Zealand, though. But it's a great big world and there are many, many places I've never seen, and probably never will see.

what a lovely art....
Isn't that needlework amazing? It conjures up whole novels in my mind, thinking of the people who made that beautiful painstaking art.
I LOVE these! You have sure been to a LOT of places!
Oh... Your grandniece and nephews are absolutely adorable.
