Peggy provided the first two photos of phishes or phish-like creations, and asked us to write about fish. We were left to find the rest of the way on our own.

Avoid silverfish, that's my advice.

And if omega-3 is so good, how come sardines are so dumb?

I'm sorry KAy but you're obviously having way too much fun with this and we can't have that (haha) Love the internal rhyming - just fun!

Yes, I know, but I can't help it—I just enjoy silly poetry. I remember when the Cat in the Hat was new, and I was a teenager, babysitting small children. The first Dr. Seuss book I read them was Green Eggs and Ham. After my stomach settled down, I found myself becoming a humorous poet as well as a humorous essayist.
Oh, of course there were all the True Love and Undying Devotion poems to get through in my teens and 20s, but my favourites have always been the fun ones.

Bears can catch fish like it's no one's business aren't they? Salmon salad sound appetizing right now.

Fun and silly for sure! And you did cover quite a range! Thank you Kay!

You have created such a fun piece with the prompt. It does have a Dr. Suess feel to it.

Which reminds me, I need to go take my fish oil pill that was recommended for my high triglycerides. I hope it works. This is such a fun poem, Kay.

This was fish-o-licious, Kay! :)

This is fun - fish are good to eat. I now crave salmon and tuna and feel as though it's been ages since I ate some good fish. Thanks for the reminder Kay.
