Our World Tuesday: eastern Canada 2010

Photos by Kay Davies, 2010

One of the most picturesque places I saw during my solo train trip across Canada last year was Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. This is the town of Baddeck, in Cape Breton, where I stayed during my visit.

That picturesque mural on the building looks much like its current surroundings. Thankfully, nature has a way of remaining constant in important ways. For a second, though, I thought these were pictures of a wharf in the west and that this was the Fraser River. Hopefully, I will be seeing you soon. :)

Nova Scotia is one of the most picturesque places we have seen as well. I'd love to go back and spend more time.

Such a nice sea-side place. I would not mind doing a spot of fishing there.
