It wasn't the wet west coast that day

The February day I met with two blogger friends for tea in my home town, White Rock, BC, was not a typical late-winter/early-spring day on the south coast of British Columbia. There were clouds, but they were pale, puffy, and not at all threatening. After tea, and after parting from our new friend Lynette, my longtime friend Maria and I walked slowly up the hill, cameras in hand, delighting at the weather we'd been granted. "Look at the sky," we exclaimed, almost as one, "isn't it a beautiful blue?"
The White Rock area was my world for 30 years, and I love it dearly, but believe me, it doesn't always look this good in February, so I'm happy I took these photos to share with you. I know, it's summer now, but better late than never!

Blue skies, I think I saw some yesterday, but today it's back to grey.

Clear blue skies are lovely but clouds do add a new dimension that I also love. Those little puffs of white we saw that day weren’t at all threatening. What fun memories we captured with our photographs, Kay! Thanks for the great reminder. Hope your skies are wonderful wherever you are roaming in this world. :)

Sky is the ever-chaning landscape. All we have to do is, look up...and click, IF we happen to have a camera like you. Thanks for sharing.

That does look bright and cheerful for coastal BC in the winter. Oregon is like that too, every once in a while there's a beautiful day and they are a trasure. (At least that's how I remember it from when we used to live here instead of just visit).

Goes to show we do have our good days. The other name for the Raincoast is the Sunshine Coast you know. Positive thinking? - Margy
